Forward Tandem Drive Axles
Beginning February 1, 1996, new Cast Iron Cover Inter-axle Differential Lockout units were released for
various Spicer models. The new one piece cover lockout design replaces both 1st & 2nd generation style
lockouts and are completely inter-changeable, but only as complete assemblies. Each of the 3 designs
along with available part number and service kits supersession information are shown on the following
pages.
