HOW TO USE THIS CATALOG

To determine replacement driveshaft by Application you may need to know:

1. Make, model and year of vehicle

2. Manual or Automatic transmission, with or without overdrive

3. 3, 4 or 5 speed transmission

4. Engine size and type (diesel or gasoline-4, 6 or 8 cyl)

5. Axle Ratio

6. Series of driveshaft

7. Wheel base of vehicle

8. Location of Driveshaft (front or rear)

To locate applications in this catalog:

 Locate proper make of vehicle

 Locate proper year of vehicle

 Locate proper model of vehicle

 Match application in catalog with application data gathered concerning vehicle

 Determine if it is a front shaft (TC to FA) or a rear shaft (TC to RA)

 Locate part number of Spicer Welded Assembly

 A finished assembly can be built by using the part number for a Spicer Unwelded Assembly (if shown)

 Tube length for Unwelded Assemblies

If all of the above has been accomplished and the customer only needs a component replaced, refer to the Bill of

Material Table starting on page 28 of this catalog.
